Plott needs rescue in North Carolina

URGENT! The following email from Carol Clay in Brevard, North Carolina offers the opportunity for someone to rescue this good looking, nicely-tempered Plott male. This is a golden opportunity for someone that wants to experience one of the world's most fascinating breeds and at the same time, save a dog’s life. Perhaps you are not a hunter at all but would enjoy having North Carolina’s state dog as your new best friend. Here’s the email from Carol:
I work with a dedicated group of volunteers in the Brevard, NC area who rescue dogs from our County Animal Shelter. Our shelter is very old and very limited in space. When it gets full, which is weekly, dogs who are not pulled for rescue, adoption, or fostering, are put down. It's horrible.
I am writing to you in hopes that you can help me locate a rescue group for a Plott Hound that is currently at the shelter. I've met the dog myself and he's a sweetheart. But if we can't find a place for him quickly....we'll lose him. He's already on borrowed time.
Contact Steve Fielder at either 919-345-7542 or at sff@akc.org and I will put you in touch with Carol
Time is running out for Isaac. Don’t delay!.
